Are you ready for some swashbuckling fun? We are excited to announce that we expanded our pool area and built a pirate ship themed splash pad for 2024! This is a project that we have been dreaming of for a long time, and we are proud to share it with you.
The pirate ship splash pad is a unique and memorable attraction for kids and adults alike. It features an interactive cannon, a ship's wheel, a treasure chest, and randomly squirting floor jets. You'll feel like you're on board a mighty man of war, ready to set sail for adventure.
The pirate ship splash pad is located next to our existing pool area, which offers plenty of space and shade for relaxing and cooling off. You'll also find our regular playground equipment and picnic areas nearby.
We started this project in summer 2023 and it is now open!.
The Kolar family acquired South Beach Resort, formerly Lindy's Cottages, in 1993. In 1994, our grandfather Walter built a large pirate ship sun deck next to the pool. Over the last 30 years, the pirate ship has needed repair and finally last year we decided it was time to replace it. Everyone loved the old pirate ship our grandfather built. And children have imagined being pirates since its creation. We are therefore naming the new pirate ship **Walter's Revenge** in his honor.

Covering over 1000 square feet, the Pirate's Cove Splash Pad is a sprawling aquatic playground where young buccaneers can let their imaginations run wild. Prepare to be amazed by its sheer size and attention to detail.
Rising more than 25 feet into the sky, the intricately designed masts evoke the spirit of legendary pirate ships. They serve as both decorative elements and interactive play features, complete with water cannons and cascading fountains.
Hidden throughout the splash pad are sunken treasures waiting to be discovered. Keep an eye out for gleaming coins, colorful gems, and mysterious artifacts—all part of the immersive experience.
