What a great place to get wet! South Beach Resort has a private sand beach and three pools to choose from. Our lower pool area is great for relaxing and sunbathing. Our upper pool is for splashing and playing! Everyone can enjoy the beach and the refreshing waters of Sandusky Bay. Relax , play or swim all day long, but don't forget your sunscreen.
All of our pools are heated from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There is no lifeguard on duty at the pools or the beach.
We have a very large private sand beach. Our Beach is great for sunbathing, swimming, sand castle building and even getting buried in the sand. Swim in the refreshing waters of the bay, or rent a stand-up paddleboard and try to stay dry. At the end of the day, catch the sunset from the beach of from our pier.
Our upper pool area has two pools. The smaller shallower pool has zero entrance and features five dumping buckets, great for wading in the water and getting wet. Small kids and toddlers can run through the water jets on the ramp entrance. The larger pool is deeper for swimming and is our largest pool.
Our upper pool area has round tables with umbrellas that are great for having lunch, beverages and snacks. It also features a pirate ship sundeck.
Our lower pool is right on the water's edge with a view of the marina and the bay. You can relax in the warmer side with bench seats and air bubble jets or go for a refreshing swim on the larger, deeper side of the pool. Our lower pool has plenty of lounge chairs for sunbathing.
